Thirparappu Falls
The cascading waters of the Thirparappu Falls make up for an enchanting sight which is located at a distance of about 55 km from Kanyakumari. Kovalam Beach
Considered to be one of the major beaches in India is Kovalam Beach which is a captivating beach with beauty of nature at its prime. Always buzzing with activities is Kovalam which comprising a group of three remarkable crescent shaped beaches namely Hawwah Beach, Lighthouse Beach and Samudra Beach. The main attraction is nearby Kovalam Beach which is located at a distance of 18 km from Poovar. At the northern part of former beach, Samudra Beach and Hawah Beach are other beaches of this place. The most sought after out of the three water bodies is the Lighthouse Beach which is located a few km from Poovar. Black in color because of Monazite and Ilmentie are the sands of these beaches.
